You put the same task on a new list each day. By Friday, you still have not done it.
The task may matter to you. You may even want to do it. But each time you look at it, you see the whole thing at once.
You might need to write a report, look for a job, or clear a room full of boxes.
What would a small start look like?
For the report, you might write the one point it needs to make. For the job search, you might choose one role to learn more about. For the room, you might clear one shelf.
That will not finish the job. It can help you see what comes next.
Some parts will still need time and a close check. Starting small does not mean doing a poor job. It means finding a place to begin.
If you are still stuck, ask what is missing. Do you need time? A clear choice? Help from someone who knows more?
You do not need a new plan for your whole life today. Pick one task. Then pick one part you can do.
